You have at least 5 to 10 years of experience in project management with a thorough knowledge of electrical systems to support these project packages, you stand out for your excellent communication and project management skills? As a Project Manager, your primary responsibility is to take care of the client’s electrical projects located in Quebec City.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Estimate the costs of construction / realization of the lots
  • Produce and interpret plans and specifications;
  • Monitor the supervision of the work in collaboration with site superintendents;
  • Administer the various deferred tests;
  • Collaborate with the various professionals and stakeholders in the project;
  • Draft project documentation (writing reports, change directives, amendments, minutes, etc.) in collaboration with team members;
  • Have a good vision of all projects to monitor the work schedule;
  • Validate shop drawings and plans;
  • Research relevant information related to the current project;
  • Plan and control the work;
  • Ensure compliance of construction work.

 

SKILLS

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, building mechanics OR a combination of graduation and equivalent experience;
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, an asset;
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in commissioning and/or optimization;
  • English-French bilingualism;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project;
  • Hold the ASP Construction card;
  • Excellent command of French both orally and in writing.
