Our client is a Quebec company with an excellent reputation in the industrial field. This company has been in business for more than 40 years and is looking for a Plant Manager with solid experience in the metal and manufacturing field to participate in the growth of its plant in the Eastern Townships.
The successful candidate will have to demonstrate a solid experience in the industrial field, but also prove that she is a person of ideas, able to innovate and participate in the development of the plant alongside the management.
This dynamic person would like to participate in the strategic planning of the company and optimize production to develop new markets. The new recruit will be paid competitively, commensurate with his talent and ambitions.
Responsibilities
- Act as a leader of the plant management team
- Direct operations so that the plant functions optimally
- Plan deadlines and ensure delivery deadlines are met
- Coordinate the activities of the teams, transmit to them the objectives to be achieved, ensure the development of staff and the monitoring of results and promote sound management
- Ensure continuous improvement of quality and manufacturing processes
- Ensure compliance of occupational health and safety aspects
- Maintain good relationships with staff, suppliers and business partners.
Requirements
- Have at least 10 years of experience as a plant manager and an impeccable track record
- Demonstrate a passion for the industrial (metal) sector and manufacturing
- Wanting to work with management to innovate and grow the plant
- Functional oral and written English
- Asset: Bachelor of Business Administration, Operations Management or Engineering Degree
