Our client, a distributor of street furniture for private and municipal clients, is looking for a dynamic, results-oriented Account Manager who enjoys business development.
Responsibilities:
As a Municipal Customer Account Manager, you will play a key role in the development and management of relationships with municipal customers on the South Shore of Montreal. You will be responsible for managing tenders, coordinating projects, and maximizing customer satisfaction. Your main responsibilities include:
- Identify and analyze municipal tender opportunities on the South Shore.
- Write and submit detailed and competitive tender proposals.
- Manage and develop relationships with existing and potential municipal clients.
- Coordinate municipal projects from initiation to conclusion, ensuring smooth communication with stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery of projects.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and identify new business opportunities.
- Participate in events and meetings to represent the company and promote its services to municipal customers.
- Analyze market trends and competition to adapt business strategies accordingly.
- Ensure competitive and regulatory monitoring to be up to date on the requirements and developments of the municipal sector.
Requirements:
- University degree in business administration, engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable management, preferably in the public or municipal sector.
- Proven experience in managing tenders and projects.
- In-depth knowledge of municipal tendering processes and requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in French and English, both oral and written.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) tools and project management software.
- Valid driver’s license and availability for regular trips on the South Shore.
