Our client, an international manufacturer of building materials, is looking for a Sales Representative to sell products and services in the field of construction for the North Shore and West Island of Montreal. The bilingual, conscientious and autonomous sales representative, with a great sense of organization. An interest in construction, design and architecture will be considered an asset.
Your challenge Under the direction of the Sales Manager, the Sales Representative ensures the increase of the sales volume by acquiring new customers and maintaining existing customers. Follow up on requests for samples, submissions and/or information on products and services. Communicate with architectural firms, general contractors and industrial companies to present technical products. You will be responsible for successfully managing the implementation and installation of materials at customers’ sites according to the contractual agreements made and the manufacturer’s standards.
More specifically, your main responsibilities will be to :Sales Maintain a database of prospecting activities as well as the evolution of ongoing projects Business development and cold calling. Provide technical information. Increase visibility with the various representation markets (construction and industrial). Be on the lookout for business opportunities in the territory. Follow up with current and potential clients. Participate in all business development activities Develop, in collaboration with the director, the company’s commercial strategy and positioning. Prepare submissions and business proposals. Participate, follow up and assist in the realization of specialized construction projects
Project Management Take charge of the commissioning of customers’ contractual agreements; Build and monitor commissioning schedules according to contractual agreements (human resources, availability, customer resources, internal and external supplier resources); Create and validate each commissioning plan and have it approved by the client; Manage resources and deliverables according to the approved plan; Ensure regular communication with the customer during commissioning;
Your profile •: Possess a college diploma in project management or any other certification in project management; Knowledge of construction site management would be an asset; Have a minimum of 1 to 5 years of experience in managing complex projects in a related field; 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B sales in the industrial or construction field Excellent communication skills with the ability to make technical presentations Ability to establish excellent professional relationships Asset: Experience in selling products or services for construction contractors Bilingualism (mandatory)
