Job Description

Our client, a manufacturing company specializing in the manufacture of construction and industrial products, has been standing out for several years and is actively looking for a passionate and dynamic sales representative who wants to contribute to the development and growth of the company. The position will be located in the Quebec City area but the territory will be Canada and the United States.

Your challenge

Under the supervision and in collaboration with the General Manager, you will be responsible for serving clients such as specialized contractors, municipalities and engineering firms. Located in Quebec City, our client is looking for a motivated and experienced Bilingual Outside Sales Representative to join their team and contribute to their growth.

Specifically, your main responsibilities will be to:

Prospecting and Acquiring Clients: Identify and solicit new potential clients, including specialized contractors, municipalities and engineering firms.

Account Management: Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing customers, understand their needs and propose tailored solutions.

Business Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.

Participation in Exhibitions: Represent the company at specialized trade shows, present our products and services, and make professional contacts.

Technical Support: Provide technical information and advice on our products, answer customers’ questions in an efficient and accurate manner.

Reporting: Track and report sales activities, business opportunities, and market trends to management.

Travel: Makes frequent trips to meet with clients, primarily within the region and occasionally in the United States.

 

Your profile

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in an outside sales role, preferably in the manufacturing, industrial, construction, or B2B sector.

Sales Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills.

Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

Mobility: Ability and willingness to travel frequently to meet with clients.

Languages: Fluency in French and English, both oral and written.
