Recruscope is currently recruiting a Heavy Equipment Mechanic Technician on behalf of a well-established company specializing in heavy equipment.
This opportunity is ideal for an autonomous and experienced professional looking for a 14/14 schedule, excellent working conditions and the opportunity to work on high-quality equipment.
Main Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical problems on heavy equipment;
- Perform repairs, adjustments, component replacements and preventive maintenance;
- Conduct the necessary tests to confirm that equipment is operating properly;
- Prepare service reports and complete work orders;
- Determine and order the parts required for repairs;
- Recommend appropriate solutions and carry out the necessary follow-ups;
- Collaborate with the supervisor, colleagues and customers to provide efficient service;
- Comply with procedures as well as health, safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational diploma (DEP) in heavy equipment mechanics or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Minimum of three years of experience in electrical and hydraulic diagnostics on heavy equipment;
- Good knowledge of computer tools and technical databases;
- Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively;
- Proactive attitude, strong customer service orientation and good team spirit;
- Knowledge of mining or construction equipment is an asset.
