Job Description

Recruit EmploymentOur client, leader in building materials, has been actively looking for a passionate and dynamic construction site project manager wishing to contribute to the development and growth of the company. The position will be located for construction sites in the Quebec City area.

Your challenge

Under the supervision and in collaboration with the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for successfully managing the implementation and installation of materials at customers’ homes according to the contractual agreements concluded and the manufacturer’s standards. You will be the person in direct contact with the customer as well as with the employees of the company assigned to each installation and construction project. You will have to ensure the complete satisfaction of customer expectations according to the deliverables agreed with the company.

 

Specifically, your main responsibilities will be to :

Take charge of the commissioning of customers’ contractual agreements;

Build and monitor commissioning schedules according to contractual agreements (human resources, availability, client resources, internal and external supplier resources);

Develop and maintain the necessary tools to ensure the effective advancement of each project;

Communicate with client stakeholders and resolve issues related to each location;

Create and validate each commissioning plan and have it approved by the customer;

Manage resources and deliverables according to the approved plan;

Design and maintain quality control tools for each of the contracted customer deliverables;

Provide training and supervise the work of stakeholders for the facilities;

Ensure regular communication with the customer during commissioning;

 

Your profile

Possess a college diploma in project management or any other certification in project management;

Having knowledge of construction site management would be an asset;

Have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in managing complex projects in a related field;

Be bilingual both orally and in writing;

Have a good sense of leadership and demonstrate managerial courage;

Have an exceptional concern for customer service and the ability to motivate teams in a collaborative context;

Be a good communicator and have the ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization;

Be willing to travel to Quebec for customer meetings and supervise construction sites.
